WE OFFER REASONABLE RATES AND FEES

AT CLIFTON TOWNS & ASSOCIATES OUR APPROACH IS UNIQUE IN THAT WE LISTEN TO OUR CLIENT’S REQUESTS AND INQUIRIES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THEM WITH THE MOST EFFICIENT, INDIVIDUALIZED AND CONFIDENTIAL SERVICE POSSIBLE.
 

OUR FIRM IS NOT INSENSITIVE TO THE ECONOMIC PRESSURES AND CONCERNS OF INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES IN TODAY’S SOMETIME ERRATIC ECONOMIC ATMOSPHERE.

WE USE A HYBRID RATE APPROACH TO BILLING. SERVICES ARE BILLED BY THE HOUR, BY THE FORM, BY THE PROJECT, ON A MONTHLY BASIS, OR BY THE DAY.
 
BUSINESS SERVICES
 
CONSULTATION Answering questions with or without research materials. Generally charged by the hour at $100/hr. First 15 minutes are FREE.
   
TAX PREPARATION Gathering information to complete tax forms. Generally charged by the form between $35 and $200 per form BASED UPON TIME.
   
SALES TAX Preparation of monthly & quarterly sales tax, sales & deduction summary. Generally charged $25 - $50.
   
BANK RECONCILIATION Adjusting check register balance and bank statement balance to match. Generally charged by the transaction, can range from $50 to $100 per month.
   
WRITE UP Turning check registers and credit card statements into management reports. Charged by the hour at $75 per hour.
   
PAYROLL SERVICE Compute employees’ time and paychecks. Generally charged by check at $2.50 per check.
   
PAYROLL ACCOUNTING Turning payroll records into payroll tax reports. Generally charged at $100 per Qtr for Federal 941. State payroll reports vary but are generally charged per employee in excess of one employee.
   
CORRESPONDENCE Writing and/or answering letters, typing, etc. Charged by the hour at $65 per hour.
   
INVESTMENT CLUBS Preparation of Form 1065, U.S. Partnership Return, from $300.
   
SMALL HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATIONS PACKAGE Includes typing annual meeting minutes, preparation of Form 1120-H starts at $150 per year.
   
PACKAGE DEALS Combination of any or all of the above services at a monthly rate.
   
Example: small business, incorporated, 4 employees, sales tax, approximately 65 transactions per month (9 – 10 deposits, 50-60 checks) - $350.00 per month/ would include payroll accounting, sales tax, bank reconciliation and management reports. Tax returns for a small corporation run about $500 per year. Payroll checks for 4 employees, bi-mothly, would be an extra $20 per month.
   
PERSONAL SERVICES
   
TAX PREPARATION U.S. Individual 1040 with Electronic Filing starts at $50. Average costs for tax preparation range from $150 for basic wage earners, t0 $450 for investors or self-employed business owners. Free Estimates upon request.
   
TAX PLANNING/RESEARCH Initial consultation up to ½ hour is always FREE and includes an estimate of cost to prepare and/or research your tax issue. Thereafter it is $100 per hour.
   
REPRESENTATION Initial consultation up to ½ hour is always FREE and includes an estimate of cost. (Applies to Audit Cases). Generally $150 per hour.
