CLIFTON TOWNS, SR. established the accounting and tax-consulting firm of Clifton Towns and Associates in 1974. Prior to starting his firm, his experience included over 23 years in increasing management, consulting, and technical responsibilities with government institutions and privately held businesses.
He was the comptroller for the Daniel Hale Williams Health Foundation. His duties included developing fiscal, accounting, and office procedures for the operation of a neighborhood health center. In addition he worked for the Illinois Department of Revenue for seven (7) years as a revenue auditor. He performed field audits on the books of businesses to determine the accuracy of the returns filed.
Clifton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in acconting. |
